New School Year!

I am so excited to be back at Shakerag Elementary for a new school year. However, this isn't just any "new year"... This is the beginning of an entirely NEW experience: The 4th and 5th Grade Academy! Many people have stated, "Oh, so it's like middle school." Well, yes and no. In the Academy, students no longer stay with their homeroom teacher for all/most subjects. Students will switch for different subjects. That aspect is similar to middle school. However, there are MANY differences; too many discuss in this blog post.
